The reason Gov. Hickenpooper didn't discuss the legislation is becuase it was a POLITICAL decision, not a LAW ENFORCEMENT issue!

On Tancredo... It’s already been publicized, that he was a public school teacher and avoided the Vietnam draft by revealing that he was mentally ill. Tancredo’s campaigns have also been predictably colorful.

On the issue of people of Mexican descent, Colorado is much like Texas, with Spanish and Mexican influence interwoven into the whole history of the State. Ranching families of several Colorado generations (as differentiated from many of the newer fake ranchers) are aware of that and tend to inform newer neighbors of the same.

Gessler is probably the most realistic, conservative choice in the CO primary with his desire to repeal bad regulations aand his experience in preventing election fraud.

The governor said he did not know the lawmen were trying to talk to him until it was too late.

I'll bet he heard about it on the news the morning after he signed the bill.
