In excerpts of Sheila Weller’s highly anticipated book ‘The News Sorority’ obtained by the Daily News, resentment towards Katie Couric was immediate upon her arrival to CBS News. According to Weller, Couric compared herself to Hillary Clinton, received a large salary while others were asked to take pay cuts, and failed to make friends with former CBS staffers who described her as abrasive.
Poor Katie — get her some Kleenex and a wrinkle-free pantsuit.
TV star Katie Couric took such a beating in the press after she jumped ship to CBS she started comparing herself to Hillary Clinton, a new book says. The steep drop in popularity that followed Couric’s exit from NBC’s “Today” show in 2006 left her full of self-pity, according to author Sheila Weller.

She's been a number one backstabbing, treacherous media hack ever since she first slimed her way in front of a camera. There is no aspect of the liberal progressive Leftist agenda that she hasn't promoted and protected with every ounce of power she's ever had. And she's going down because Hillary's going down, and that's why she's invoking Hillary - as an effort to reconnect Hillary with media support.
