Yes, and although I imagine it happens in other cities too, this stuff is the real reason Detroit went to hell, and, I hate to say it, a real comeback is unlikely. As a disclaimer, I should say Ive never been there. But I know they had a few comebacks, but ultimately those didnt succeed long-term.
I’m interested in this stuff personally now because we are are trying to be labor coaches for the rebirth of Everett, a much smaller city, I realize. I should say downtown Everett.
