Throwing Bamby out on his ear and making immediate changes to the policy would be the only place to start. And, that would take time to develop. I would like to read some logical ideas on what people really think would work in the near, and long, term.

Congress can, I believe, override an Executive Order (which is what DACA is).

However, that would take both the House and the Senate, so no action could take place until next January. And I wonder if the Republicans have the gumption to consider repeal the "Dreamer" Executive Order.

The Congress can also defund the program. But what would they defund? The refugee shelters? Food and clothing for the children? I don't think so.

Time to pray for a strong Republican leader to emerge...

These children don’t qualify for DACA. To qualify certain criteria have to be met Including;

Continuously resided in the United States from June 15, 2007 (last five years) to the present

Been physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012, as well as at the time of requesting deferred action from USCIS;

Entered without inspection before June 15, 2012, or had any lawful immigration status expired on or before June 15, 2012
