Of course, an interesting thing to see will be the GOPe response to Palin’s threat, if we can call it that. Will any of them say anything? Rove, or some other surrogate? Maybe the Wall Street Journal, or one of the lesser lights at National Review. Elected Republicans probably won’t say a word.
I think this Palin statement just keeps adding to all that is slapping the GOPe in the face right now, and warning them they are on the verge of self destruction if they don’t end this ruthless war against the base.
There are already more than 50 “third parties”, but Palin could actually start a true third party, big enough to reduce the GOP to a mid sized party, a Palin led Tea Party would become a true “third party” and who knows what the rankings would be after 5 or 10 or 20 years.
After this last 6 years of us seeing their hate, the GOPe better wake up and get over it’s scorched earth policies against conservatism, or else they just may end up succeeding at getting rid of the portion of the party that they want to stop so badly.
