I was just reading that he left the gang of 8 because they couldn’t come to an agreement regarding illegals paying 100% of their health bill when they go to the ER. He and the other Republicans were not budging on illegals paying 100%.
IMO that would be a pretty weak reason. It indicates to me that he is not opposed to amnesty, just particulars. I am wary of this guy.
Hardly anyone pays 100 percent; they just don’t pay the bill when it comes. And unless they must show ID, they may otherwise give a phony address.
