ISIS butchers leave 'roads lined with decapitated police and soldiers': Battle for Baghdad looms as thousands answer Iraqi government's call to arms and jihadists bear down on capital
The full horror of the jihadists savage victories in Iraq emerged yesterday as witnesses told of streets lined with decapitated soldiers and policemen.
Blood-soaked bodies and blazing vehicles were left in the wake of the Al Qaeda-inspired ISIS fanatics as they pushed the frontline towards Baghdad.
They boasted about their triumphs in a propaganda video depicting appalling scenes including a businessman being dragged from his car and executed at the roadside with a pistol to the back of his head. The extent of the carnage came as:
Images from captured cities such as Mosul and Tikrit showed deserted streets, burnt out vehicles and discarded uniforms left by government troops fleeing the brutal fanatics;
ISIS leaders urged their bloodthirsty followers to continue their march and warned that battle would rage in Baghdad and in the holy city of Karbala;
Thousands of residents in the capital answered a call to arms to repel the invaders amid fears the governments own troops were not up to the job;
Aid groups warned of a new refugee crisis after half a million terrified Iraqis left their homes to escape the jihadists.

Unbelieveable. Could only stomach 8 minutes of it. Such lawlessness, evil ....words can’t describe what I saw.
You’ve posted that reply to MY previous posting of that one.
Sadly, I thought you were correct then and even MORE CORRECT now.
Until the PC bullchit stops, we’re probably doomed.
So... the Sunni/Shia schism will melt away under this long-awaited Caliphate? Did the 12th Imam/well prediction happen when we weren’t looking?
Meanwhile Herr Obozo and his Wookie have other important plans!
Amid Foreign and Domestic Crises, Obama Plans to Fundraise and Golf This Weekend

The Iraqi government is pleading for help from the U.S. as ISIS militants close in on Baghdad; Syria is still in the grips of war; veterans are dying from long wait times at the VA; and weve got a humanitarian crisis going on at the Southwest border.
With all this at the forefront, youd think the president would work tirelessly to address these problems. Alas, hell be doing what he does best this weekend: fundraising and golfing.
President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama should land at Palm Springs International Airport at about 6 p.m. Friday, straight from a visit to the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation in North Dakota.
At approximately 8:30 a.m. Saturday, theyll jump over to Laguna Beach for a Democratic National Committee fundraiser, followed by the commencement address to UC Irvines Class of 2014 at Angel Stadium, which wraps up at 1 p.m.
That puts the Obamas back in the desert at about 2 p.m. Saturday. They will stay for Fathers Day, before flying home to Washington, D.C., mid-morning on Monday. Its unclear if their daughters, Malia and Sasha, will tag along.
What is Obamas plan here in the Coachella Valley? Presumably a short vacation, and likely a round of golf or two though the details remain fuzzy.
Priorities.

What rough beast from Bethlehem......
Well, if they coalesce, it sure relieves us of wasted diplomatic endeavors..... like here in Texas we didn’t
stall to ask ‘you comanche, apache, or cherokee?’
If your theory is correct, Baghdad will not fall, it will *lay down* and be absorbed.
Amen and thanks for spreading their pathetic actions.
Unite two countries who despise each other, with a common cause.
That means it’s happening right now.
Who did that map ? Taji north of Baghdad has US contractors there working at a tank training grounds. That map claims it was taken ?
Not .50 cal. Napalm.
This video should be required viewing for every male who purports to be free. This is a fight to the death.
Well, OK. I’ve spent years watching hurricanes form and their eventual landfall or dissipation, I’ll be watching sharply for this one.
One question: do you think Egypt is going to be swept up in this union/kalif/coalescense?
off of Twitter
Turkish officials are now calling for the evacuation of the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad.
