I remember him, clearly.

I had been reading about him and heard about his murder THEN the events of 9/11 occurred.

Concurrent with his murder as I recall, there had been a systematic destruction of ancient, religions carvings in Afghanistan.

I guess no one in the US intelligence community knew the price of a cup of coffee in Afghanistan.... do any of them even read the fact sheets?
