Mitch MUST be defeated... he is no friend of the country. He needs to be out of leadership and out of DC

HE WHO DOES NOT LIKE VENGEANCE HAS NEVER TASTED IT.

Oh we've all tasted it in a 2nd Obama term. It may have cost us the country but by damn we got vengeance!

It would be great to have a Pub take him out, but Grimes is running to the right, and I’ll settle for anyone taking him out.

Can you find a Democrat these days who isn't running to the right? But they'll all vote in lock step with their fuehrer once they're in.

Maybe I’m not as cynical as most or too optimistic for some: but at least with a Repub. I know that we have his ear (partly) and shouldn’t in theory move Dem. legislation. With a Democrat like Harry Reid in control of the U.S. Senate we get NONE of that, and we get negative because He’s an enemy of freedom!!..can you deny this??

I totally agree.

Either one of two things happened...

Could be that he accurately represents his constituents.

Or...like in most states, people don’t vote this time around. Most people are disinterested and unaware there is even an election. A few voters can sway things in the primaries.

Unfortunately, we ALL have to sleep with Goober. These races affect each and everyone of us nationally - since these losers make national policy. Or they used to - until our Emperor showed up.

When I last looked at Grimes’ web-page, it looed to me that she is running to McC’s right on a number of issues. I agree that her votes will likely end up being something otherwise, but in KY it is still credible to do what she claims to be doing. I also think that because she will not be covertly undermining the effectiveness of the Republican Caucus, the effect will be to the right.

A Grimes win in a red state of Kentucky would be huge for Democrats to gain in south, another vote for Reid, and a huge bonus for Clinton 2016. That is not good news. Sorry.

“um... how is a democrat Grimes leading the republican good news ?”

Um, dontcha’ know? Why, it insures that Harry Reid gets to remain Majority Leader. That’s a good thing for the country. He has kept bad things from happening to America, er, to Obama, by blocking bills sent from a republican House of representatives. Surely if allowed to remain in that position he can continue to keep bad things from happening to.......Well, you know.

I agree with that, that is why I wrote that I did not like the Choice South Carolina made.

What if a defeat for McConnell does not necessarily mean the loss of the Senate, suppose polling reveals shortly before the election that the Republicans are destined to take majority control the Senate or destined to fall well short? In other words, a defeat of McConnell would make a good situation a little less good or a bad situation a little bit worse.

Would not grassroots conservatives not only be justified but be well advised to vote for McConnell's Democrat opponent? Justified? Yes, because McConnell has quite openly sought to eliminate conservative candidates all across the nation by attacking them and funding their opponents. Conservatives are clearly justified in voting to remove McConnell from the scene because to remove him is to remove a threat. McConnell is not just a threat in his own state but he is a threat to conservatism across the nation.

Well advised? Yes, because it's necessary to show some teeth if other would be Rino lawmakers are to be intimidated and it is clear that they must be intimidated to prevent them from reverting to rank Rino-ism. The harm they do will be worse than the loss of one Senate seat, unless that loss turns control of the Senate.

It's a close question but I think under the limited circumstances described above, the better course is to actually vote for the Democrat. Next election we might not be facing the same Rino establishment if we show ourselves willing to stand deserters up in front of the firing squad.

I’m with you. If we don’t get rid of the Democrats, the country is gone.

The country is already gone. Embrace the suck.

Perfect. I'm using this one phrase and writing a freeper editorial about it.

I agree with you. I’m so bloody tired of the enemy within. At least a Democrat is a known quantity. Having to ensure nobody on your side is about to screw you over too is getting real old.

It will help McDaniel in MS

I hope so. What might be helping conservatives is that disgust about the Children's Crusade is pretty widespread. Anyone with a solid rating from Numbers USA should get a big boost from that.

Polls show Kingston and Perdue both defeating Nunn. I agree with you, however. I was so pissed when Hannity endorsed Kingston with free radio plug; right after saying he didn’t endorse in Primaries. He talked for 2 minutes about how great Kingston is. Hannity so pisses me off anymore; I hardly listen to him any more.
