VIDEO of the three tanks entering a Donetsk suburb just before dark today, supposedly.
It shows the three tanks, and two KAMAZ, with one towing a light AA gun (SU-1?).
They look like T-62’s to me, but don’t T-64’s look almost the same?
It’s hard to tell Russian tanks apart after the turret inevitably pops off.
It doesn’t really matter, they’re all crap. They lack and good fire control, no gyros. Like most things they made, they look all fancy but are highly inferior to west’s gear.
If this is true and they’re sending armor in, when is the media going to let us know? Maybe they’re still trying to figure out the best way to spin this.

In fact T-62 has nothing in common with T-64.
T-62 is actually an upgunned T-55 and T-64 is a radical innovative tank for it’s time.
It was a top gun in the 1960s, a kind of like Abrams since 1980s.
It had a composite armor, precise advanced fire control with laser rangefinder and stabilized cannon, autoloader, remote-controlled machine-gun, multifuel engine - all back to 50 years ago!
More recent T-72 was a step backward. It was like Chevy Nova to Corvette comparing to T-64 but also T-72 cost was under 300,000 rubles and T-64 over 1 million at the time. A couple of T-64 engines alone would cost as much as fully-equipped T-72.
Also T-64 was designed and built in Harkiv, Ukraine. For that reason, Russia has seized operation and scrapped it’s T-64s soon after Soviet collapse while Ukraine still builds that things and has it as their primary MBTs.
