Unless we become atomized, the whole planet, people will pass stories of what happened to America and how it happened. 5000, 1000, 500 million years later we know what happened to dinaosaurs, barbarian tribes and mummy kings.
As long as people exist, the story of America’s fall will endure. Some way, some how.

Norm, I agree that some folks will see the truth, if the truth is presented. The story of our founding is not being taught to students today. If it is, it is told from a world view that White Men set up a system to benefit them only. It’s very ugly.
I’m not convinced our story gets told the way Western Civilization has been willing to do it in the past.
With the U.N., Marxist, and Islamic forces at work, who knows how much of the world’s populace will really grasp what our nation was all about. Will 10%, 5%, or less of future humanity get it? I’m not sure.
Look at the people in our own nation who don’t get it now. That can only get worse when the U. S. declines.
We could be looking forward to a time when 90% of the world’s populace would be unable to see the U. S. in a good light.
The entities I’ve already mentioned, can’t now.
All the leftist political tyrants fall as do their followers. But we still know the truth of Nero. Of Cesar. The Pharroahs. In between, there have been many attempts to destroy knowledge. Muslims sacked and burned many libraries for example. Nazi/Soviets eraced people, places and mountains of data.
but we still know. the truth found its way through.

Norm, I agree with your premise, that truth found a way through. Let me explain my thoughts on human civilization as it relates to Christianity.
I believe this old world will be cleansed at some point. When sin has had it’s chance to be proven or discredited as the best policy, God will step in.
For this to happen, I believe the world had to shrink. I believe that word needed to be able to travel the planet in moments. Once that was done, there could come a time when troubled times would happen in full sights of the world’s inhabitants, and choices could be made in real time.
It has also been my premise that the United States was the last real testing ground. Here was a nation that set limits on it’s government and gave power to the people. It was a grand experiment, but now we have seen how corrupted the process has become. We have a president the likes of Obama, and a situation where our nation is being betrayed across the board, by Obama, the Senate, Congress, and a myriad of government agencies. The experiment has failed.
There isn’t going to be another United States. There is no expansive region for it to grown in.
When the U. S. is gone, Marxism, Communism, Islam, these dominate. The Western world isn’t dying, it’s surrendering, committing suicide.
So while I can agree with you that small pockets of understanding will always exist, for all intents and purposes the lights will have gone out on decent thinking for this planet. All people will live in a police state.
Look at our own nation. We’re practically in a police state now. Our citizens are so addled, that they can’t see Obama for what he is, or recognize sound policy for what it is.
If our own citizens can’t see it, our nation is doomed. And if it is doomed, what entity promotes a sound government? On planet earth, the Western Civilization will have died, and only evil will remain. And if you think it’s bad now, just wait.
I don’t think this world lasts much longer if the Christian God is real, and His word is truth.
He will at some point put an end to evil. I think it’s sooner than later. Evil has had it’s way. It brings death, oppression, pain, depression, anguish... and on it goes.
God’s plan brings just the opposite. And in the not too distant future, I expect Him to return and erase much of this old world. Then we will start over without sin.
IMO, that’s the only way good conquers all on this planet.
If left to our own designs, the lights go out as the U. S. is over-run by the hoards. Defeated from within in from out side, the U. S. will have been a grand idea that ultimately failed.
Then who champions sanity on this planet? As a functioning nation, no one.

Perhaps I should clarify a bit.
I am perfectly fine if/when the collapse hits because I too believe in God and his word. And I am fine with the people (to melodramatically use my favorite phrase) writhing in the filth of their own corruption because they asked for it. BEGGED for it.
As long as ‘enough’ of the truth of what happens remains that one guy in a mud hut in a dank forest knows why because he had stories passed down to him via sand drawings from the tribal elders when he was a kid I am good. Because all the libs will be gone and their legacy, even a fraction of it, survived them.
But all those people living in the police states cannot be completely purged of the knowledge of a time when things were not that way. There is no way it could happen. they cannot beat it out of people or kill them all to erase it. the killers themselves would have heard and as un PC as it is to say, their may have existed a sole guard in the Soviet gulags that slightly sympathised with his captives even a little bit. Not that it mattered a lot. As before, once again.
And so the truth will survive. And there is not a damn thing the libs can humanly do short of extinction to stop it.

I agree there are good people in Cali. Mass too. And NY.
But they are what they are. Those are lib ruled sewers that at some point, we have to stand back and let destroy themselves without our cash funding it. There are not enough of us and fewer by the day to correct the problems there.
If you remove emotion and just look at the numbers they are a massive burden/net drain. And thats how they must be dealt with. They are bad from every angle. And worse, breeding grounds for more bad.

I understand the logic behind what you suggest. I would only say that at some point we become the original 13 colonies again. What does that gain us?
We either stand and fight, or we back ourselves into oblivion.
California is winnable again. No big money comes into the state to support sound policy.
The GOPe, the RNC all do their best to trash sound policy. If we get a good candidate in the state, they abandon them.
We will never be successful like that. You can see right now that the GOPe stands at the ready to betray us in every state. There’s nowhere to withdraw to that is safe.
