you know, if everyone just lied to pollsters, the whole sham industry would collapse It's not perfect, but it's not a sham either. When done right, polling does a lot of good. I'm recently retired, but I took a great deal of pride in delivering honest answers that kept candidates informed. And, yes, a lot of people (especially conservatives) lie to pollsters or just hang up on us.
