Fact; people who have an Irish born grandparents or Italian born grandparents are considered citizens of Ireland or Italy no matter where they are born. if you are born in America but have grandparents from Ireland or Italy you are considered a citizen of Ireland and Italy. You can’t be a duel citizen and be president. Unless Italy and Ireland change their laws people with Irish or Italian parents or grandparents cannot be president of the USA since they are also citizens of another country. Remember even if Obama had been born in Hawaii (a big if since most agree that the birth certificate is fake) his father was a foreigner and foreign citizenship was pronounced on Obama from birth.

This is why I am lucky my great great grandparents were born in Ireland and not my grandparents. I am not considered a citizen under their laws so I could run for president if I wanted.

We need to check every candidate for duel citizenship before election time to avoid a disaster like Obama. If another country considers you a citizen you cannot be president. This excludes a lot of Americans with Irish and Italian grandparents. Unless Italy and Ireland change their laws, these people cannot be president.

Welcome to FR.
Who were you previously?

And it’s dual, not duel.
