Actually, James Wesley Rawles has a pretty funny reference in his original "Patriots" novel about a character that carried his 7.62mm battle rifle (an FAL, I think) around in his car to be prepared for SHTF, since he regularly commuted so far from home and into a "gun free" city. When asked what kind of instrument he played, he would reply, "Bass staccato." LOL! Rawles claims, IIRC, this was based on a real person he knew.
“We know there was an exchange of gunfire between one of the first responding officers and the shooter.”
don’t know how to do strike thru but it could have gone down like this:
“We know there was an exchange of gunfire between one of the armed teachers and the shooter. only the shooter was killed during the exchange. miraculously no one else was injured during the attack”
definitely a democrat socialist NAZI (national socialist)
It’s a damn shame that cockroach Jared could not be revived so he could be killed again. I favor burning at the stake.
If the Kid just took a Meat Cleaver with him, Like Joe Pesci borrowed from his Mother in ‘Goodfellas”, we wouldn’t have heard a thing about this.
Did he have a military style haircut? The writer missed that cliché.
‘He was one of those organized people who liked order, liked everything to be really perfect,’ said Agustin Guzman, a 16-year-old who attended Reynolds’ Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps with Padgett.
‘We have this thing where we had to learn how to fold the American flag correctly and I was in his group. He would get really irritated if we messed up,’ Guzman told OregonLive.
He referenced problems within the family, describing it as having ‘had its ups and downs over the years’ and revealed that Padgett’s parents, Michael and Kristina broke up four or five years ago.
“But I digress. Please show the evidence for setting off your “gaydar””
Didnt mean to offend your gay sensibilities.
I would be happy to hear any “motive” evidence not involving rejection complex. I am not judging just speculating. Your free to be a gay as you can be. I dont particularly care.
Although I have my thoughts on this matter, unlike you, I'm waiting for real evidence of why this troubled teen snapped...
Im glad your in touch with yourself. Next time wait until I actually accuse somebody of something as apposed to just wondering if we had tragedy rooted in sexual identity confusion.
You were pretty quick on the trigger, my projection radar is pinging.
I wasn’t judging ... you were.
You’re 0 for 2 on your “gaydar”
Evidently you’re as bad with that as you are casting accusations.
So quit with ad hominem attacks because I’m just giving the medicine for the prescriptions you’ve written...
“Im just giving the medicine for the prescriptions youve written...”
Thank you Dr.
Gods blessings to you. May you find peace with your thoughts.
Riiiiight!!!
Slander? from you mind not mine.
Gods Blessings
I asked you for evidence of your “gaydar” being set off about the deceased boy.
Your response: no proof or evidence of the boys sexual preferences, just heaping calumnies against me for merely asking you to back your “statement”.
So if this wasn’t a slur, baseless statement or uneducated opinion against this troubled dead boy, what was it? An attempt at humor?
Making “fun” at the tragic loss of two young lives cut short?
And you dare invoke God’s blessings?
Waiting for your explanation (this will be interesting)
i did. what part said he was a republican
here’s the nazi link you have to the uk news to get the details. don’t ya know
Padgett was known by his classmates as a quiet student from a large military family with a fascination for guns.
Freshman Kaylah Ensign, who knew Padgett since middle school, described a gun-obsessive who lost his temper last week when giving a presentation about a book on Adolf Hitler.
She told OregonLive that she did not recall the name of the book, but when they discussed the Holocaust he said, ‘this is life now’ and ‘everything really does happen for a reason.’
Indeed, Ensign said he became extremely agitated during his presentation about the book on the Nazi leader when members of his class began to disagree with him.
‘He got really uptight over it and started raising his voice,’ she said, adding that ‘he felt as if they were facts.’
Finally, she said, others just stopped arguing with him because of his unnerving reaction.
Other friends described the military enthusiast as someone who was obsessed with detail.

You did.....what?(don’t understand?)
Please read my posting again,” I said:
“seems more like he had a hard time resolving his very conservative upbringing, with his parents divorce.”
Didn’t claim he was “a republican” but from the Daily Mail.uk article, as stated in post # 29 by kcvl, one can surmise he had a very tradition(Mormon) upbringing, comes from a large military family, was a deacon in his church, a Jr ROTC member and wanted to join the military like his older brother.
Also this:
“On Padgett’s Facebook page, the 15-year-old liked two tactical knife companies, M4 assault rifles and political pages such as ‘Conservative American Military Veterans Against Barack Obama’ and ‘We WILL NOT Be Disarmed.’”
Now all this can be wrong as of this reading but this hardly sounds like a squishy, San Francisco type, Quiche eating commie-symph lib in the making...
As I tried to point out to Breto, sometimes kids, like this one, have a very hard time resolving their parents divorce.
There maybe other hidden reasons and I’m open to hear them as they become known...
