However, as strictly written, “corruption of blood” only applies to those convicted of treason. The 5th Amendment infers the principle, overall, however.

In this case, the principle that children aren’t held accountable for the crimes of their parents is being made in a pretty expansive manner, tho.

Yes. The Left is constantly pushing the boundaries of the Constitution (see Roe v Wade with its “penumbras”) in the directions it wants to go.

I view things like this as I do “hate crimes”. The Constitution protects against everything liberals want to prosecute as “hate crimes” if only it were followed.

All hate crimes legislation does is put things in place that don’t need to be there.

Murder is murder. Theft is theft. Rape is rape.
