We as a nation need NOT soul search or be ashamed. As a nation, we have laws against murder. It’s up to the courts to prosecute the cases, and to incarcerate individuals who harm others.
There is no shame in having good laws, and upholding them. The shame is when those laws are ignored for one’s own personal preference such as what Obama personally and frequently demonstrates.
