Just an observation over the
past few weeks. My wife and I occasionally drive through new neighborhoods under construction in our community. We’re used to seeing hispanic laborers working on home construction. Most are illegals, who up until now worked as individuals with money sent home back to Mexico, Honduras, ...wherever...but now their families are sitting in their cars and trucks on the street as they work. I’m talking women with 4-5 little kids crammed in compact cars or pickup trucks. Lots of them in our local HEB grocery store too, which has never been the case. On any given street we can find three or four vehicles full of people sitting in construction sites waiting for hubby/daddy to finish for the day. This tells me that the flood gates are wide open. The Border Patrol must be standing down by edict.
Where do you live?? My bricklayer, 24 years ago, had his wife and kids in the car all the time. I urged them to come inside but they refused, so all I could do is take water to them.....weird.
