You think that’s bad: at the military base where I work a flyer was e-mailed out last week announcing an on-base LGBT festival, the activities, among other things, to include “cornhole.” Disgusting enough, but it’s interesting to note that, while “LGB” has been officially endorsed by the military, I’ve nowhere seen that “T” has been likewise endorsed. Looks as if they’re slipping it in through the back door, if you’ll pardon the expression.
When DADT ended there were meet and greets and get togethers throughout the military with some personnel coming out, one was at the Oregon Air Guard and was publicized. They weren’t satisfied with being openly gay, they had to celebrate it.
