Yesterday, a man and a woman shot two police officers in a Las Vegas restaurant after saying, this is a revolution. Then they draped their bodies in a Gadsden flag. According to reports now coming in, the couple (who later killed themselves) appear to have been white supremacists and told neighbors they had gone to join the protests in support of anti-government rancher Cliven Bundy. It was one more incident of right-wing terrorism that, while not exactly an epidemic, has become enough of a trend to raise some troubling questions.
What Im about to say will raise some hackles, but we need to talk about it. Its long past time for prominent conservatives and Republicans to do some introspection and ask whether theyre contributing to outbreaks of right-wing violence. --snip--
And I promise you, these murders in Nevada will not be the last. It may be going too far to say that conservative politicians and media figures whose rhetoric has fed the deranged fantasies of terrorists and killers have blood on their hands. But they shouldnt have a clear conscience, either.

I was going to comment on this, but we have only limited internet access here in the FEMA concentration camp.
Are we supposed to feel guilty or something here? There are kooks in every crowd, and there certainly more then enough on the left.
I googled this Paul Waldman. Writes for the Washington Post, works for the American Prospect, used to work for Media Matters. Probably Mother Jones & The Nation, too.
Waaaaay out in left field. Waldman also wrote, “Obama must fix the VA mess in order to redeem the liberal vision for America”.
A Che Guevara poster hangs on his bedroom wall, no doubt.
To Hell with that guy. Wonder if he had any “troubling questions” after the terrorism, I mean, workplace violence at Fort Hood.
I can’t wait for Obama to go on tv and claim that if he had a right wing nutcase in his family, he would look like the guy in Vegas...
That’s good, now let’s check all the prisons and see which party has more felons in them.
Given the amount of violence committed by obvious left wingers recently wouldn’t a better question be how much does the president’s statist rhetoric contribute to left wing terrorism?
Liberals loved and encouraged the Arab Spring. Why wouldn’t they embrace one here? Or did the liberals inspire these guys? I mean, since Obama encourages and supports this overseas, no wonder the halfwit liberals think it’s OK here
To be honest, I would put the “unabomber” in the class of “ultra-conservative”, not “right-wing” since that is reserved for NAZI/Fascist types. Right-wing and Communist’s are just different sides of the same coin.
Ted Kaczynski, while I wholeheartedly disagree with his tactics, was extremely anti-left, anti-Progressive and actually had seen the destruction today’s leftist’s are advancing today.
He is no hero, but his manifesto reads like almost any rant from today’s conservatives.
"When did you stop beating your wife?"
Libs often equate conservatism with Nazism
Paul Waldman
Paul Waldman is a partner in R5 Advisors, a communications consulting firm, and a senior correspondent with The American Prospect magazine. He is a former senior fellow and director of special projects at Media Matters for America and the former associate director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center.
I have read his "Manifesto".
Have you ?
BTW, there is soo much more.
He offers a simple solution. Conservatives and right-wingers need to shut up and get in line behind the democrats.
It’s really so simple.

Paul Waldman, Author, was an identified member of JournoList - an email group of approximately 400 “progressive” and socialist journalists, academics and “new media” activists.
JournoList members reportedly coordinated their messages in favor of Barack Obama and the Democrats, and against Sarah Palin and the Republican Party. JournoList was founded in 2007 and was closed down in early 2010.
Parts of it. Big deal. The point is the guy sounds as much right wing as environazi. He’s a lunatic.
Not in the United States, but Norway had that murderer who deliberately set up a killing field in a resort island for the children of progressive leaders. His logic was that these were going to be the next generation of leaders who would continue to champion islamic migration into their country.
So I'd classify that guy as 'right wing' - although clearly demented by his atheism.
If you are looking for a common thread: besides 'bat-shit crazy; or psychotropic drug user; or lefty socialist -- the clear trait they all share in common is that they are atheists (of whom I'll also throw in many of the islamic mass-murderers who, although aren't atheists, worship Satan).
How much does Progressive “journalism” contribute to Totalitarianism?
