“the Establishment chimes in!”

I am GOPe. GOPe is committed to reelecting Gop incumbents, defeating democrat incumbents, thereby stopping Obama.

Teaparty seems to be committed to defeating republican incumbents while leaving democrat incumbents unchallenged.

I seek to politically destroy all liberal republican candidates, either in the primary or in the general election.

I look forward to the day when running as a liberal republican is a political kiss of death. I'm doing my part to make that happen.

No, the Tea Party is committed to electing CONSERVATIVES. That means getting CONSERVATIVES nominated. We go after democrats (either incumbents or otherwise) AFTER we choose nominees of our own party.

The Establishment is committed to getting the most moderate candidate possible elected in every possible case. And once they are elected, to keep them there. The thought of the people selecting another REPUBLICAN to represent them is abhorrent to them. So they build enormous “warchests” to discourage challengers, and if they one runs anyway, to destroy them.

Sometimes both sides have a hard time distinguishing between: (1) RINOS like McCain, who are a few paces to the right of the democrats but always moving in their leftward direction; and (2) non-RINOS who will go, say, 5/8 of where they want to go but oppose them on the remaining 3/8, especially when the 3/8 comprises one of their pet issues like immigration. A good case can be made for fighting candidates in (1) but, in an imperfect world, supporting candidates in (2) who can win.

Are you freakin’ kidding me? They’ve had 6 years and Obama just keeps rolling along. The GOPe couldn’t stop a one car funeral procession. I wonder how long the FR Moderators are going to let you keep infiltrating this site with you Liberal Agenda.
