The whole point of the exchange and virtually nothing to do with Bergdahl and had everything to do with establishing trust with the Taliban and the terrorists of whatever name. Obama is seeking to negotiate a settlement in Afghanistan much like he has done in Iran which is no settlement at all but a propaganda fig leaf.
Obama had to demonstrate to the terrorists that it pays to deal with him.

Recall that in March of this year, the vice President of Afghanistan, Mohammed Fahim died of a heart attack. He was a staunch opponent of the Taliban and a leader of the North Alliance back in 2001.

I still believe that Obama’s arrival in Afghanistan was the signal to the Taliban that he was in control.
Whether his bagmen dropped out duffel bags containing cash or other desirables while he was there, that trip is somehow connected to the exchange.
The Taliban knew that we were not aching to get this guy back; we had plenty of opportunities.
This video really makes it seem staged to me, more so than before.

It is my belief that he will become the leading voice of Islam in America. He will talk of peace and the media will paint him as a hero, possibly a prophet.
He has probably spent the past 5 years studying Islam and my worse fear would be that the CIA has been training him.
