Contraception is better than abortion, cheaper than abortion too. It’s not the best, but if used in proper restraint, it can make things a little safe. As for me, there is, whether the politically correct admit it or not, and option to have sex. The rare exception to this is rape. If rape does occur, the rapist should be tried and punished severely according to the law. I disagree with what Obamacare is doing given the cost of contraceptives in the first place, there not as important as life-saving surgery, which is far more costly, and important to cover. I also despise Obamacare because it does nothing to relieve the recent VA negligence schedule. If we look at the ACA, it is not socialized medicine because it profoundly neglects what most nations got into socialized medicine in the first place for: Caring for their sick and disabled war veterans, Britain and France had a lot more than we did after WWI and WWII, and is a main reason why they got into those programs. Given the situation at the VA, and Obama’s bald-faced lying about it, the ACA is nothing like the healthcare that those European Nations have, it’s about upholding the big health insurance companies, mandating that you get their insurance, and pretty much grinding the smaller ones under the heels of the bigger ones. Obama is a big business lover, and the liberal cause is a bunch of hypocrisy, or a classic stage act that pretends to be for the little people.
You know, if a lot of homosexuals had some sense, they would want abortion heavily restricted so that they would have a better availability of infant children to adopt. But then again, groupthink goes into bizarro land.
I would say that it’s not so much anti-sodomy as forced societal change using the growing societal acceptance of homosexuality as a case study.
The religious part of this is being well covered in this thread, so let me speak to the higher-level change issue: that the pace of societal change and the methods in which it is being driven is a massively destructive force in and of itself (ie outside of the religious context)
What we’re seeing here isnt a natural progression of societal change. It’s a forced-march progression that is creating an ever widening societal scism. Where we have now pivoted from seeing acceptance driven through guilt (bad enough) to overt bullying and oppression of those resistant to acceptance (which is magnitudes worse).
thank you, I was starting to think I had lost all reading comprehension skills when reading these comments, since the book sounded to me to be BLASTING homosexual behavior and that makes it all the more perplexing that conservative media will not cover it.
well said.
