My grandmother was 15 when she married, my wife was 17 when we married when I was in the Army during the Vietnam war, and in 1960 the median age for first marriage was 20, the “median”, same in the 1950s.
Those battle hardened and worldly warriors from WWII were marrying plenty of teen girls, and I wouldn’t want to guess the percentages of their wives being virgins on their marriage day.
We all know the ideals that we seek, the values we want to instill, the moral culture we want, the return of the values to past America, but this twisted and sick overreaction of the last 20 years is fringe like, and isn’t a return to normality but in it’s own way is as twisted as other things today, it is overlooking normalcy as an overreaction to cultural victories of the left, but it also reflects much of the left and feminism and ignores nature and science and our own families and even our own dating experiences and other’s experiences that we frequently saw among our high school peers.
