On June 7, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America founder Shannon Watts said a good guy with a gun "has never" stopped a bad guy with a gun.
Watts made this comment in response to a question from CNN host Victor Blackwell.

WOW! You would think that with all the money nannie bloomers has supporting these stay at home moms (except when they're at work) someone would do just a little research. Ooops. I forgot. Facts don't have any place in their argument.

Well, off the top of my head, the Ft. Hood shooter was taken down by a policewoman with a gun. Remember that we don’t allow military personnel on military bases to have weapons, which he knew since he was a member of the military.
Just an example that these people are full of it.

LMAO... I’ll bet you can go back a week or 2 here on FR and find NUMEROUS articles where a legal gun owner (GOOD guy) stops something bad from happening...
Fortunately it was on CNN so only about 35 people actually saw it...

The US Military must be bad guys also to have saved the US in WWII.

Let’s not forget the lady in Colorado Springs that took the guy out at the church. I guess “she” doesn’t qualify as a good “guy”.

I know of two occurrences of someone stopping a mugging/rape/murder because the potential victim had a gun.
In neither case did the potential victim have to actually fire the gun to make the “bad guy” run away.
And in neither case was the potential victim dumb enough to report the occurrence to the police (in both cases, they were in a “2nd-Ammendment-Free zone”).
Many/most of the events supporting responsible self-defense never make it into the statistics.

Well, she did say “guy” so Jeanne doesn’t qualify. Liblogic.

Meet Paris Ainsworth.
Shot 4 times and still managed to return fire hitting 2 of 3 assailants (one of them twice) and swearing like a sailor the whole time.

Yes, but their response will be to question the legitimacy or ethics of the self-defense shooters in these instances and thus make them into bad guys.
To: rktman
Ms. Watts, you ignorant slut, I have personally stopped two armed bad guys with my gun.
To: rktman
Didn’t we just commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day? When a good guy with a gun does stop a bad guy, the story is suppressed. Case in point-the Portland mall shooting a couple of years ago. When the bad guy saw the good guy’s gun, he shot himself.
