So wasn’t that part of CC’s owner’s complaint - there were “fresher” horses in the race? I wonder what the outcome would have been if only horses that had run in the first 2 races were allowed to run today?
Oh well....it’s only a race. I just happen to love horses and got caught up in the CC story. Beautiful horse!
I don’t think Chrome would have won today regardless, he just didn’t have it.
It is a beautiful horse. He injured himself in the foot at the starting gate. That’s bad luck and I hope he doesn’t have to be put down.
