Peter Haigney, a spokesman for the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, confirmed that one of the patients in critical condition is named Tracy Morgan. Three of the passengers are in critical condition and one is in fair condition. Comics Ardie Fuqua and Harris Stanton are among those hospitalized following the accident. Sadly, James McNair, sometimes known as Jimmy Mack in the comedy circuit (see his stand-up below), was killed.

This crash would probably have made the news even without a well known person being in it. It looks horrendous from the pictures.

One article at least had the name of the person who was killed, who was on Morgan’s limo bus. It seems they got the worst of it.

My guess is that people on a vehicle like that might not be wearing seatbelts.

But let’s not be mean about things, that’s so pointless.

One guy is dead, Morgan and 2 or 3 others are in bad shape. Let’s just hope they will recover.

I live in NJ and drive in our awful, horrible, dreadful traffic every day, so that’s why I feel affected by this story.

The tractor trailers are terrifying to me.
