I would like to see your source for it being illegal to wear that common hat in America.
I see post 59 now, and would like to see an example of that law ever being used to convict any of us veterans or non-veterans of wearing our old hats, especially one as common as the Boy Scout/park Ranger/State trooper hat.
Then you can explain how an uncovered, partially uniformed Sergeant Major can attack civilians and take our hats under that law.
