If she was a professional performing at a baseball game for pay, you might--might--have a point. But in his situation, when a patriotic person is making a spontaneous gesture of gratitude, any criticism at all is inappropriate. That would be the case if she sang badly or sang with an accent. If singing the Star-Spangled Banner is limited to those who pronounce everything flawlessly then my immigrant father, who loves and fought for this nation, could not have sung it either.
