I'm willing to bet that she has also been in mental health therapy for at least five years and is doped up on psychotropic prescription drugs.
And above all else, let’s pray for the victims — and the perps.
One recent update said that the shooter had paused to reload, and security officers were able to disarm him and restrain him for police. Good on them! Those guys need a bonus.
ABC radio news said it was a shotgun.
I’m glad your son is fine.
I listened to almost an hour of reporting on this on the way home, including a statement by the Mayor (big Dim), Police Chief and Fire Chief.
There was only 1 shooter - he used a shotgun and also had a handgun of some sort. Witnesses said there were like 10-20 red shotgun shells on the floor. White male - black hair & hoody about 20(+/-) years old.
He entered the foyer of the building and started shooting. He shot 3 people, 1 20 y.o male died at the hospital. There’s a 20 y.o. or so female that was in critical condition and was in surgery about 1 hour ago. 2 others are at the hospital (only 1 of them was shot, not saying how the other was injured) - both in satisfactory condition.
2 others were injured in some way, but not taken to the hospital.
As I understand it, the big presence of SPD, Fire, Aid, etc. was because it was at a school at they didn’t know the situation. ATF and FBI were also there.
More in a few minutes - be right back, going to get something to drink.
Even if it weren’t a gun free zone, there is another problem that plagues universities: many students don’t meet the minimum age requirements for a CHP. In WA it’s 21 to open or concealed carry.
Thanks for that info.
KOMO has been reporting that it was a shot gun.
When he stopped to reload, the building monitor (a student “security” - heard might be ROTC, but not confirmed) jumped on him, brought him down and heard he sprayed him with pepper spray. He sat on him and 2 other students helped restrain the perp until the SPD arrived minutes later.
School was on lockdown as they weren’t sure if there was more than 1 shooter. SPD and SWAT went room by room until the building was cleared. Sounded like they released 1 room of students at a time then the students were searched outside by SPD and questioned for info.
After the Dim Mayor said he offered prayers to the families, victims and school community, he had to of course bring in - - there’s too much gun violence in our city and across America - something has to be done.
The President of SPU sounded choked up at 1st, then spoke well - mentioned Jesus Christ. Later when he was answering a question he mentioned Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior.
Students held an impromptu prayer outside the building and the Pres said there is a prayer service in the church (Methodist) on campus at 7 tonight.
The perps truck was parked outside the building on the street. ATF and the bomb squad were going to search it to make sure there wasn’t a bomb or anything else in it.
An assault AR-SKS shotgun?
It’s a “she”?
The way you ask that question tells me that you know the answer. We all pretty much know. The MSM has been a left wing political entity for a long time.
You’re very welcome!
SPD is supposed to have another press conference at 8 this evening(from police headquarters). I suspect the local TV stations will carry it live. For those not in Seattle that might be interested, our TV stations are
Kiro, King and Komo as well as KCPQ (Fox) and may have live streaming.
Radio station 97.3 FM was going non-stop on it earlier and cut in for the presser. I know they have live streaming.
The press accounts so far sound like the students and staff responded quite bravely and well. The shooter was taken down before he could reload. Sad that one had to die and others were shot.
I was wondering about him using a shotgun - - I haven’t shot one in years, but I thought they only held 2 shells (at least what I recall).
Witnesses said there were 10-20 shells on the floor. If that’s the case, seems like he would have had to reload a few times.
One guy was shot in the face - - don’t know for sure, but I suspect that’s they one that passed.
“She” was a typo - or a Fraudian slip (LOL!). I really have no idea.
It happens to all of us
Don’t judge all mozlums by the acts of a few.
Bbut all gun owners are evil, here’s proof.
“Not to be callous, but why are these shootings always a national story?”
Because the antis find them useful in frightening people plus they prime the pump for more spree shootings. if our news channels were filled with news of rifle and pistol competitions, youth excellence in skeet and trap, bowling pin match news stories, these rare events would be seen in context. But, all major news outlets refuse to show peaceful competitions, so they make these events stand out.
The ready media template for pushing gun control is one that the sick wierdos can exploit, so that their manifesto gets read on primetime, and it gives the antis one more propaganda piece.
