Must have been an Everclear brownie. Serves ten.
More and more stories like this are coming to light. I was laughed at when I shared my negative experiences about this (during my college days). I was told I had a bad “laced” sample, but it was the same as my cousin had, and he didn’t complain.
Face it, it is a drug and it doesn’t affect all people the same. It scared the crap out of me, I never tried another drug. Thank you Jesus.
Does NYT have an employee drug policy?
I had a very similar experience. My best friend sat with me for hours as I had the worst experience ever.
I don’t see the problem here. The state voted to legalize it. Let people who choose to use it handle the consequences.
Reality is for people who can’t handle dope, Maureen.
I dont see the problem here.
Agreed. If she drank a bottle of chardonnay, got drunk and passed out in her hotel room and woke up with a wicked hangover, it would be a non story.
Stupid is as stupid does.
Paranoia? Hallucinations of Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp? And of the late Christopher Hitchens (you know, Maureen’s best pal until he became “Chris the Snitch”)stopping by her hotel room?
Don’t drink too much so you can’t function. Don’t eat too much pot candy that you can’t function. Why is this a story...?
Yes. If you're on the clock, you must be stoned. You're allowed to be sober if you're on vacation, on your own time.
Therein lies the rub. Usually the rest of us become unwilling involved b/c they cant handle the consequences or risk. Its an incredibly childish mind set, all about me and my fun...
NOTE TO SELF: When in Colorado, selling 30 round AK an AR magazines out of the trunk of your car, DO NOT eat the local produce. Bring your own from out of state!
“Does NYT have an employee drug policy?”
I think the answer is yes. They apparently paid for Miss Dowd to go to Colorado and get stoned. That would be their employee drug policy. Put it on your expense account. (Assuming that is what happened.)
That’s their problem. Let them rot unless they trample on someone else’s rights, and only then should anyone step in.
Exactly.
How can you claim to be an authority on anything at that advanced age if you don’t know eating pot is different than smoking it?
