I’m as pro=gun as anybody on the planet, but I admit I never quite got this whole “open carry” thing.
Use a shoulder holster or a waist band holster and put on a jacket, suit coat, or an extra shirt.

Personally, I prefer to carry concealed. I don't want anyone to know I am carrying (or not). Not knowing if someone is armed certainly SHOULD BE a deterrent to a person intent on committing a crime but alas, there are a lot of stupid people out there. To my knowledge, "Target" was, or still is a French owned company and I do NOT see any chance they would allow for "open carry" in their stores

I still think it’s ‘asses’ on the left that are actually for gun control that are doing this.
Any sane person would not want to open-carry just as
a black-belt would not walk around with his belt on and his hands in the air.
The surprise element makes a big difference. Why would anyone want the bad guy to shoot him first?
“Here I am, see me? I’m tough.”
Compare this with a guy driving a Maserati.
Dumb! Dumb! Dumb!
