They missed having a total boondoggle by a whisker —NO ONE would have showed and the town leadership would have had 10 omelets all over their faces.
I think a lot of protesters would have shown up, which is why they said they couldn’t handle the number of people that would show.
Probably 5 protesters to every person celebrating.
