The few millennials I know don’t want to work in the oil industry, it is dirty...

The people fracking shale here in Western PA are saying the same thing. For the first time in generations we are creating good-paying jobs for blue collar guys with high school educations. And the kiddies are turning their noses up at it cause it’s hot, dirty, and you have to do physical labor out in the rain and the snow.

And this after thirty years of whining and bitching that Pittsburgh had no jobs.

We’ve come a long way from our millhunk heritage days. Those guys would work full shifts at blast furnaces with their front at 140 degrees and their back at minus two. They would have jumped at these jobs.

I know a few that do. They understand earning their pay, then getting paid well.
