Well, it probably is racist?
Everything WE say and do is racist?
I have given in and just told ‘them’ to save themselves some time and put me in the
Racist, Sexist, Homophobist, or whatever ‘ist’ suits their fancy as I will get accused of it anyway.
I have also heard that about the successful Blacks.
Guess maybe they don’t want to ‘betray’ their Race by marrying a White so they do the next best thing.....
IN a couple of generations the ‘kids’ will start to lighten up etc??????
Even as ‘young’ as I am, I remember the 2nd generation Italians of my youth were more Olive skinned and had darker hair yet the grandchildren are as light complexioned as mine.
I really can’t say a lot as I had the ‘swarthy dark Irish look - DARK hair as all my family did’ but I married a Blondish Woman and one of my kids was Dark Complected and the other Blonde - the Dark complected one married a Redhead and her daughter had/has “Fiery red hair as did her eldest son -both so light skinned they would ‘burn’ under a hot lamp’”. Their third and last son took after my side of the family and was/is dark haired and dark(er) complected...in fact the two red heads refer to him (jokingly) as ‘their Mexican Brother’
.....Kids just as cruel as they ever were.
Funny how that works out.
