Iirc the story is that dating her was just an acting gig for him. She was being pretty scathing about Clinton over Lewinksy at the time, so they sic’d Douglas on her to encourage her to back off.
Her scathing commentary stopped almost immediately. Once the scandal abated he dumped her for CZJ.
Don’t hate me for revealing this, but Rush Limbaugh has said, in his early years in New York, he dated this half wit.....I think it was only one date, though.....Rush is a pretty smart guy...... ;-)
