Florida Sen. Marco Rubio has made his intentions clear as he hit the campaign trail with Jodi Ernst on the eve of the crowded Iowa GOP U.S. Senate primary.
First, he hopes to help Republicans gain control of the U.S. Senate, either in the midterm elections or in 2016, and that has led to him stumping for Ernst, The Des Moines Register reported. The primary in Iowa is Tuesday.
Second, after taking a back seat last year as a potential GOP candidate for president, Rubio is pondering his political future and that may lead to him taking a shot at the White House.
Although Rubio rarely makes endorsements, he’s made an exception with Ernst, an Iowa state senator who is facing four other Republicans seeking the party's nomination for the seat of retiring Democratic Sen. Tom Harkin.
“I just really felt like we would make an exception in this case because there's such an exceptional candidate running here,” Rubio told the Register.
“This is not just having an Republican nominee, it's the hope of electing someone to the U.S. Senate who isn't just going to be someone that votes the right way but is someone who's actually going to make a difference."
Rubio noted that Ernst, a military commander in the Iowa Army National Guard, will bring "tremendous credibility" to national security issues, while adding that she proved her voting record in the state legislature. "She's not just against Obamacare, she's voted against it," Rubio said.

And claim to be conservatives while demanding people vote for their liberal. It amazes me to no end that anyone takes them seriously after their performance last go around.

It sounds more like in your eyes we should just vote for RINO GOP-e 3.0 in 2016. I truly hope there is a 3rd party soon to rid the party of RINO lovers like yourself.
There is no difference between a Democrat running their scams/guilt trips on blacks/minorities to keep them on the plantation voting Democrat and RINO sycophants running scams/guilt trips on conservatives to keep them voting GOP. None.
Both twist truth, rewrite history, offer excuses when presented with truth and have spectacular tantrums when told ‘no’.
The fact that some people are stupid enough to keep repeating their mistakes and electing their problems does not obligate the rest of us to help them do it. The GOP is not entitles to jack sXit. They either earn the vote or not.
I have said it repeatedly to some of their biggest butt kissers here. This is hardball. they can either side with conservatives and elect a conservative or they can lose. Conservatives lose with wither GOP or Democrats since they both created the mess we are forced to live in so we have nowhere to go but up.
If they truly oppose democrats more than us, they better damn well vote with us since were not voting with them. And they cannot win without our help. That has been proven repeatedly.

Don’t back him if he gets nominated. Wait for the perfect conservative candidate. Maybe by 2095 one will materialize - if we still have a country left.
Of course not, but in Post-Obama America, they can run a fullblood Haitian and say he was a citizen. The respect for the Constitution and rule of law is GONE.
