Good for him. I hope this isn’t just eyewash. Of course, he gives his boss the mandatory pass on the shameful prisoner release. Dempsey is pretty much a disgrace when you consider what’s happened under his command.
It was too risky to rescue the guy so we just traded 5 high value terrorists for him. Real good leadership.
Based on what I saw of this man’s mother and father (a converted Muslim fruitcake), I don’t believe he was ‘captured’.

It is worse than eyewash. Dempsey is giving himself and others in the chain of command an out when questioned about Bergdahl. When asked a question, Dempsey will say he can't answer since it is under investigation. It is SOP for the Obama administration.
The military and the rest of the federal government has become politicized. Honor and country have gone out the window.
DOD has taken the lead in allowing illegal aliens to join the military. They did something similar with gays in the military.
Of course he wasn’t captured. He went out looking for the Taliban. They don’t keep American military prisoners they kill them. Otherwise there would be more than just Bergdahl. He was working with them.
