Maybe the 5 released from gitmo have been recruited as double agents. Or maybe they will be watched and fall prey to Obama’s drone strikes: “Turns out I’m really good at killing people,” Obama said quietly, “Didn’t know that was gonna be a strong suit of mine.”
The more likely scenario is that Obama gave them the locations of our troops/bases in Afghanistan, and the locations of weapons caches. Additionally, I'm willing to bet that a huge sum of money was sent their way.
I just heard on Hannity that Obama was told by the Taliban which ones to release. The Taliban wanted their best back. And baraq obliged.
