The standards aren't the problem: the textbooks approved to implement the standards are the problem. The math methodologies are horrendous and yes, we're getting political statements in texts... but that's not a function of the standards themselves.
Admittedly, it's an easier sound-bite statement to make to simply say 'Common Core is bad', but you could have a whole different set of conservative-minded textbooks that adhere to those standards and we'd all be happy.
Anybody running into search trouble? I suddenly can’t reach sites like al.com, ESPN and google.com... yet FR is working fine.
