Congratulations are in order for the new King of Spain, Felipe! CNN reported Monday that the 46-year-old prince will be taking over the throne from his father, King Juan Carlos I, who feels it's time for a younger leader. But a new reign doesn't just mean change for Spain, it also means a new queen. Felipe's wife, and arguably one of our favorite royals (besides Kate Middleton, of course), Princess Letizia will take over for Sofia, who has held the title since 1975. Even though we don't always agree with Letizia's sartorial choices, the 41-year-old has, on occasion, pleasantly satisfied our stylish royal fix. Now that she is emerging as queen, we can't wait to see what she steps out in next.

There are professional photographers and some people are just natural in front of the camera.
They have photogenic qualities. The camera seems to love this pair and their children. I think its not only power, its the way they are in command of things.
Just what we should expect no less from a King and a Queen.

Black has its place and here it works really well. You can see this couple really coordinate everything and that makes a statement.
Every now and then I have to change my mind. The woman looks so regal. You just are barely conscious of how she does the impossible here.

Our First Lady doesn’t know how to dress.
When you look at the photo, Letizia just draws your attention. Some women are beautiful in a way that you just can see it from the way they dress.
The more I think about it, the Spaniards are far more blessed than we are.

Spain is not usually thought as a fashion capital. I think we’ll be seeing a lot of Letizia when she becomes Queen and she will grace us for a long time to come with many beautiful outfits.
She could have been a model.

The couple lives a modest lifestyle. With the figurehead nature of a monarchy today, why not get rid of it?
I find politicians far more of a menace than the world’s kings and queens. They have no sense of style or restraint.
This particular dress exposes some unflattering shoulder bones.
Perhaps it’s just the camera angle.
In person, the dress/shoulders may have looked fine, but in a photo, they do not.
All the following photos/fashions are just fine, tho.
She does look a little like model Cindy Crawford

Letizia seems to have a Jackie-O type of quality about her.
