Your thoughts are not without merit, but I would hope that the House at least goes on record.
For Obama to commit over 20 acts of outright treason, and not have it even RECORDED as such, then ....
..... well then the country is simply finished. The subsequent Presidents can commit any act of treason, up to and including turning the Nuclear Control 'Football' that targets and launches our nuclear weapons, over to Al Qaeda.

This has gone way past the point of anyone voting their way out of this. The best I’m hoping for is to hunker down out of arms reach of the lumpen when the EBT cards quit working and the social security checks stop going out.

Orangedog does have a valid argument. It was a Republican Senate that failed to find Clinton guilty, and that was BS. Clinton was guilty as sin, but the next turd to hold that office wants to be able to use previous precedent to get away with the same thing.
OTOH, the military side of me does support what obama did by gaining Bergdahl's release. We don't leave our troops behind.
Any mis-deeds will be brought out in the ensuing investigation, and this won't cover up prior scandals for long.
