Thanks. I’m so sick and tired of all these made up minority groups. I couldn’t believe the list of “groups” when my wife was filing out her updates at the doctors office. Oddly, there were no sub-categories for Dutch, German, Norwegians, Swedes, Lithuanians, Polish, etc, etc. You get the point I’m sure. If and when I have to update my info I’ll just check the “other” box and list some made up sub-species. Freakin’ ridiculous. I guess for race I could have “Bristolian” or “Limerockian”.
There is a line for if you own a gun! and sexual orientation.
Some genetic illness are race related. What worries me is the fact that 3 of my great grands are mixed race. Did they inherit a gene for one of them?
Just on my mom’s side, I’m Celt-Scot, German, English, and a smidgen of Cherokee, not enough to count. Dad was English and French, and God only knows what else. As no one has done the genealogy for his side.
So I guess I’m a Other box.
BTW, my son is a big-time NASCAR fan. In fact, he started a group called, "The Pit Box" on FaceBook.
