Well, the Greeks invented it, after all.
How do they separate the men from the boys in the Greek Army? With a crowbar.

Insert male object 1 into another male object 2. Works better with and in ‘GREASE’. Something about Trojans comes to mind...

Q: Why did the Greek boy run away from home?
A: He didn’t like the way he was being reared by his father.
Q: Why did the boy come back?
A: He couldn’t stand to leave his brothers behind.

Sigh, puss-— another modern day Greek tragedy in the making.

I guess they are. This notion that men are exclusively homosexual is a fairly new western notion.
Men in ancient Greece of course had homosexual relationships, but they were also married and had children.

Greek Orthodox 78%, Muslim 18%, other (includes Maronite and Armenian Apostolic) 4%
All of Cyprus' religions and faith communities are anti-sodomy.
Not that they're all faithful, of course. But I wonder if the beach-vacation-foreign community --- who probably contribute to a very lucrative tourist industry --- comprised most of this number.

A lot of the turnout weren’t supporters, but rubberneckers and reporters.
