I worked my ass off on the ground and on the phone to end David Dewhurst's political career. I spent 4 years doing it.

That liberal republican selected democratic chairmen for the Texas Senate (republican majority). Just enough so he could block conservative legislation.

That liberal republican is gone now. His replacement is expected to not block conservative legislation.
