I was seriously considering Cain as my candidate for president and listening to him very carefully. He was talking about what he intended to do as president and he said something like “but blacks are worse off so I must help them first”. It was just a quick comment sort of out of the side of his mouth.
That may not be his exact words but I dropped him like a hot rock. After that his woman troubles cropped up but I had already moved on.
I didn't hear that, but it would not have changed my mind much. Cain could not handle adversity much like Fred Thompson. There are many bad things about the Republican primary system, particularly crossovers. But it does weed out the people that can't handle adversity.
