Joshua instinctively resisted

I suppose that's one way to spin shooting at firefighters and cops.

Although Joshua injured no one

Now, that isn't exactly true, is it? Reports at the time indicate one officer was taken to the hospital, and was was treated at the site.

Given that, I've concluded that you have no credibility as to this story. I will concede that the army did not deal with him properly after he was found to be a threat to himself and to others - he should have been secured at that point until cured, rather than turned loose on the community.

First of all.... Josh was heavily medicated, both for a recent major surgery and for PTSD. Second he did not shoot at, or actually shoot the cops or firefighters. If he had, there would have been a body count as he has had a lot of combat experience. Even the 19 tear gas canisters they launched into his room did not kill him. He is well trained. The cops shot him. His bullets are accounted for in the walls of his apartment. Some idiot cop saw that another cop had a bloody face (He fell on the steps and banged up his face.) The cop who saw the cop with the bloody face yelled that an officer had been shot, causing all officers to go nuts in a shooting frenzy. The cop even told the press that an officer was shot. It’s well documented. No officers were shot.

Josh could have legally killed the fireman as he was breaking down his door and the castle doctrine in NC would have protected him. There is an exclusion for police but not for fireman. There should be, but there is not.

The same cop who shot Josh, shot and killed another Staff. Sgt one month later.

Common guy... get your facts straight if you are going to post negative comments.

I have enough information to make these cops look like the three stooges. You can’t imagine how many times they fouled up. Looks like it will all come out soon as the military abandoned him and he is heading to trial. This is going to blow big time in the press and there are a lot of his buddies in Special Forces who are spitting mad about what has happened. I spent quite a bit of time with them in the hospital.

There are already Federal lawsuits filed on Josh’s behalf. the whole thing is a government cluster....

Even if he had shot and killed a cop, the military had him on so many meds which they subsequently issued a warning not to give the soldiers with PTSD. Psychiatrists had already diagnosed Josh with TBI & PTSD and he was in a treatment program for it! Duh! Now they are trying to say that he did not have PTSD. They don’t know that Josh spent considerable time with a Government psychiatrist who works with PTSD on a regular basis. That psychiatrist observed the symptoms over an extended period of time. This trial is going to get interesting....

If you want to hear about the keystone cops, just wait until after the trial. It is all coming out. Too early to show the cards, but let’s say you have heard the police propaganda side of it. They are trying to cover their ass as they know they screwed up and can be sued.

How many people who frequent this site would shoot to kill if someone was smashing down your door in the middle of the night? How many reasonable people would do it? Now ask yourself if it is reasonable for a heavily medicated soldier who has two full tours of heavy combat fighting and was injured in the third to do the same? Two major surgeries and blown up with a TBI and he still went back to help his buddies. I heard his stories personally prior to this incident. Picking up the body parts of his men after the truck bomb hit his building. Being blown up himself in the explosion. Finding one of his soldiers who hung himself. His men getting court martialed for shooting back when shot at by the insurgents.

“”Now, that isn’t exactly true, is it? Reports at the time indicate one officer was taken to the hospital, and was was treated at the site.” The one guy fell on the steps. The other injury to the officer was by another officer while Josh was already in custody. It’s what happens when cops go into a feeding frenzy. Flash grenades don’t discriminate.

“Given that, I’ve concluded that you have no credibility as to this story.”.... I spent considerable time with Josh shortly before the incident. Was with him in the hospital immediately after the accident. Know the details of the several private investigators who were retired homicide detectives. I know what meds he was on. And have known Josh for about a dozen years, and his family for over twenty years.

I’m sorry.... I have known Josh and he is a war hero. He and his crew did every day what they gave other people medals for. He dedicated his life to fight for this country and the country abandoned him, after they destroyed him.

Now they don’t even want to give him medical benefits or treatment for his battle injuries that happened prior to this nightmare.

Par 35... Watch the news this next week as it is about to blow in all the media.... The Army Surgeon General just fired Commander Brewster head of the Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, N.C and suspended three top deputies. He was giving Josh a hard time and was partially the reason that the federal lawsuits concerning Josh receiving negligent care were filed. This is going to cost some people their professional licenses and end their careers outside the military. There will be formal complaints filed with all appropriate professional licensing boards.

One great thing about the Army using contract services provided by non-military personnel, especially for psychiatric and psychological evaluations; they don’t have the same malpractice protection as military personnel.
