I know. The Savile affair didnt get much publicity in this country but he got some awards and things(some that have since been rescinded I guess) and rubbed shoulders with all kinds of important people in Britain.

Yes. I know someone in the UK who produces children’s programs for “hospital radio” over there—and there were some references to Jimmy Saville that had to be edited out for when it was re-aired years later. (Another “paedo” as they spell it: Gary Glitter of Rock n Roll Pt 2 fame. Pete Townsend too...?)
