I’m from one of those counties, and would love for them to break away, but the liberal power brokers in the population centers will never hand them the key to the chain locks. Besides, the Mexicans won’t tolerate a non-Hispanic entity breaking free to self-determination. California is conquered territory.
I would love to include Trinity County in that effort; but I don’t think the south will ever let us go, we have the water.
