If/when you do ever visit a SS office recommend you wear your old clothes and look as downtrodden/unkempt as possible. If you look like a responsible, hard working, law abiding, tax paying citizen they will treat you like dirt. That’s just a fact.

SS will be broke and gone before I reach retirement age in seven years. So I probably won't get the pleasure of dealing with them. If I do I will dress for new car shopping.
