A group of soldiers serving in Iraq fire back at John Kerry’s perceived slam on U.S. troops by holding up a banner reading “Halp us Jon Carry - We R stuck hear n Irak.”
When Kerry ran in 04 he made an assinine remark about the importance of education or else you could wind up in Iraq. Suggestion being that our troops are dumb and uneducated.
You can’t beat military humor.
“I have that memory which is seared, seared in me,” of that picture of the soldiers with the sign mocking Kerry’s idiotic characterization. I often wonder whether they got in trouble for that.
